Arches National Park – Backcountry 4×4 Half Day

Morning: Meet at 6:45 am to depart at 7:00 am; return approx. 11:30 am.

Meet at our office located at 378 N. Main Street in Moab, Utah at your scheduled time. The tour will head north on US 191 passing the entrance of Arches National Park which was designated as a National Monument before being changed to a National Park in 1971. Our special use permit allows us to enter the back door to Arches via the Willow Springs Road. Along this backcountry route, you’ll travel through the new area of the “Utah Raptor State Park”. Here where Native Americans lived back in history for thousands of years you’ll see dinosaur tracks and enjoy the views of the La Sal Mountains. The Park lies atop an underground salt bed that is responsible for the arches, spires, and sandstone fins. Several of the stops include Eye of the Whale, Balanced Rock, Delicate Arch viewpoint, and the Windows Section. The trip length is approximately 4 hours duration. All vehicles are Jeep Rubicons which are enclosed and air-conditioned.

Arches & Canyonlands National Parks – Backcountry 4×4 Full Day

This tour combines both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in one day. You will experience the wonders that both these parks have to offer while riding in the comfort of one of our fully enclosed, air-conditioned, 4×4 vehicles. Marvel at the towering rock walls, sweeping sandstone landscapes, and the sheer beauty that is laid out before you. Throughout this day long adventure your experienced and knowledgeable guide will provide you with information on the parks, from the history to the archeology and geology of the area. Your guide will also point out formations and other landscapes along the way, which many visitors to these parks might miss on their own. A delightful lunch is included with this all day adventure.
Arches National Park – 4×4 Full Day (with Hike to Delicate Arch)

This tour begins with a morning hike to Delicate Arch which is approximately 2 hours round trip. Arches National Park is known for its many natural sandstone arches. This guided tour will allow you to learn about the history, archeology, and geology of this world-famous National Park, with one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides. you will also get to see areas such as the Devils Garden area and the longest arch in the park, Landscape Arch. This tour will take you into some of the remote backcountry areas of Arches, which few get to see. Along this backcountry route, you’ll travel through the new area of the “Utah Raptor State Park”. Here where Native Americans lived back in history for thousands of years you’ll see dinosaur tracks All this from the comfort of one of our fully enclosed, air-conditioned, 4×4 vehicles. Backcountry tours are operated in Jeep Rubicons. We advise that if you are over 6’2″ and/or 225lbs. or have children under the age of 4, to please consult our office prior to booking. National park fee not included, so bring your National Park pass!

Canyonlands National Park – Backcountry 4×4 ½ Day

The Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park is the focus of this excellent half day tour. Set 2,000 feet above the canyon floor below, we will descend from the top of the mesa via the famous Shafer Trail. Using Shafer Trail’s winding switchbacks the tour will take guests from atop the mesa to the meandering river corridor below. Throughout the tour your experienced and knowledgeable guide will provide you with information on the Park and the various scenery that you will see. There will be an emphasis on the history, archeology, and geology of the area. Your guide will also point out natural sandstone arches, and other formation that many visitors might miss on their own while visiting the Park and the canyons below. This tour offers guests the opportunity to see the splendor of Canyonlands from the comfort of our fully enclosed, air-conditioned, 4×4 vehicles. Tour could be ran in reverse, or bottom of the canyon climbing up.

Famed White Rim Trail – Island In The Sky District of Canyonlands National Park – 4×4 Full Day

Come experience a part of Canyonlands National Park that many do not get to see. On this tour your guide will take you on the renowned White Rim Trail, which traverses into the very heart of Canyonlands. With this tour there is the option of taking some moderately short hikes that will allow you to explore hidden passages and secret canyons only accessed via the White Rim Trail. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will provide you with information not only on the Park and its spectacular scenery, but also the history, archeology, and geology of the surrounding area. You will see such sights as the Goose Neck, Lathrop Canyon, Musselman Arch, and the well-known Shafer Trail. When not on one of the optional hikes, you will be traveling in one of our comfortable, fully enclosed, air-conditioned, 4×4 vehicles.
Day Needles Trip – Canyonlands National Park – Full Day

The Needles was named for the colorful spires of Cedar Mesa Sandstone that dominate the area. The Needles is a remote district located within the southern portion of Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah. The Needles District is 1.5 hours from Moab, Utah.
Needles is a rugged wilderness of buttes and mesas that sprawls outward in a tapestry of oranges and reds. Home to a vast network of trails that weave between 100-plus-foot-tall red-and-white-striped sandstone columns. Showcasing some of southern Utah’s most dramatic desert scenery.

Horseshoe Canyon – Canyonlands National Park – 4×4 Full Day and hiking

Horseshoe Canyon, located in the expansive Maze District of Canyonlands National Park, is home to mysterious archeological sites and extravagant life size rock art panels. Traveling into the heart of Robbers Roost Country – once home to Butch Cassidy and his cattle rustlers – you will be awed by this beautifully isolated and remote part of Canyonlands. Once we have reached the rim of Horseshoe Canyon via our comfortable 4×4 vehicles, we will pack lunch and fill water bottles to begin our decent into the canyon below. The canyon floor rests 650 feet below the rim, and the hike down and back is about 7 miles. The hike can be strenuous, especially hiking back out of the canyon; and you will want to be in reasonably good physical condition to truly enjoy this awe-inspiring hike.

Enjoy the beauty of Canyonlands National Park via the world renowned White Rim Trail. This 100-mile backcountry trail will take you into the heart of the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands. Our experienced guides will help you explore various areas on several guided hikes. Relax in the evenings while our guides take care of all your camping need. All your meals will also be taken care of by your guides while you are out on this adventure.

This tour takes guests, via jeep/4×4 vehicle into Canyonlands National Park via Moab’s Potash Road. The 4×4 road connects to the famous White Rim Trail inside Canyonlands. After connecting with the White Rim Trail, we will work our way down to the Colorado River via a trail called Lathrop Canyon. The rafts that will be taking guests through Cataract Canyon will be waiting at the mouth of Lathrop Canyon. Guests will then be enjoying 3 nights rafting through the infamous Cataract Canyon, that will be taking them through the very heart of Canyonlands National Park. Camping gear, an experience & knowledgeable guide, along with your meals from lunch day 1 to lunch the last day are all included.
