Cataract Canyon! (Ultimate whitewater adventure
during 2012's high water season!)
This 120-mile expedition takes you through the renowned
Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park. It offers
some of the wildest, most exciting whitewater in the country
during the months of May, June and early July, when the
spring run-off fills the canyon's watercourse with raging
torrents. From July to October, the river calms itself with
lower water, but is by no means placid. Later summer offers
pristine sandbars and warm water. (3% access fee not
included in all Cataract Canyon trips)

CANYON RAPID EXPRESS
In Westwater Canyon the Colorado River is funneled into a
narrow corridor of black polished shist overlain with red sandstone
cliffs. Not only is the canyon spectacular, but the rapids are
a blast. Funnel Falls, Skull, Sock It To Me, and several more
rapids come one after the other in an intense and rollicking
expedition that brings out the bronco rider in all of us.
Above and below Westwater the river meanders serenely through
red rocks and you're invited to join us for a two or three day

prairie dogs, or waterfowl and desert birds, along with yucca,
sage, numerous cacti and wildflowers. Huge cottonwood trees
over untouched beaches offer exquisite campsites.
